You know that I love pet tech. The ResQwalk app provides a fabulous way to support animal rescues and shelters. It costs you NO money. It’s a free app. It came out in July 2014 so it is brand new.
First download ResQwalk by ResQthreads onto your iOS 7 compatible device. After you create a user profile just check-in before you take a walk (with or without the dog). Each week, ResQwalk announces a donation pool. A rescue organization (of your choice in the US and Canada) receives donations from the pool based on your walking distance each week. The money paid out is a proportionate amount to the distance you walk.
